I used it in my emperor, just before the cartridge and it removed all the tannins leached from driftwood. Within 24 hours when from light tea to crystal clear.

Hey, How many do you use?? Pillows?? and where in your emps, I am running 3 and want to do the same thing you did, like to remove all of the tannins.

Thanks-

Thanks.. Is it really that simple? :) Does it have to be 24 hours or has anyone done it in a shorter time??

You don't need to do it faster. Do it right.

Sounds right to me :) Thanks :) Still it was done over alittle more than 24 so I'm good :)

Hello,
We advise 24 hrs to remove everything bound and to get the maximum amount of use of Purigen after regeneration. It
is possible that it can be regenerated or turn its
original color in less time. But you should definitely
Prime or de-chlorinate for the recommended time and place
in a buffer for the advised time for freshwater.
