ok I NEED MORE INFO... for those of you that use SAFE rather than PRIME how much more concentrated is it ,and how easy or difficult is it to use ? I am thinking of switching over if I can save enough money to justify the order....for instance how many gallons will the 8.8 ounce bottle condition ....thanks....LEE

Safe is by far the money saving choice when changing a lot of water in multiple tanks. Right now I have a 125 gallon, 2- 400 gallons and a 10 gallon and the small 8.8 ounce bottle lasts me 3 months.

50% minimum on all tanks so about 120 gallons and sometimes I do it twice a week.

I do 50% weekly wc's on my 110G and I add 1/2tsp of safe each time. I still have over 1/3 of a 250g bottle left after a year and a half of doing it this way. Best $8 I ever spent.

Buy the 5# tub, it will treat about a quarter of a million gallons. $50 will give you a big enough supply of dechlor that you will have to pass it down to your kids.

@ 2 ppm chloramine (my tap water value year round) a 4KG container of Seachem Safe will treat 526,400 gallons of tap water.
