oo sorry forgot to add that.. this 125 is just newly set up(on sunday) i added four established filters from my previous 100 which are 2 AC110 and 2 Eheim Pro II 2028, but out of my ignorance, i replaced the quilt batting in the two cansiters and took out the gunk. so my guess that it took some bb out. and i used completely new water for the tank, etc. so my tank is going through a mini cycle

i also forgot to say that i replaced the two outlet tubing on the canisters since they werent long enough to reach the tank... and again i forgot to save the tubes because off the bb colonies inside it.

Todays results (Wed 04/21) Day Four:
  • Ammonia: 0 PPM
  • Nitirite: 0 PPM
  • Nitrate: 15 PPM

l'll let you guys be the judge but that just about wraps it up. If it's not zero, it's extremely close. I have been feeding every day this week too. Not a ton of food (once per day) but enough to keep the fish healthy and the newly established bacteria fed. I'll post tomorrows results as well for fun and the new 300 gallon when I start it. That tank has never seen a cycle so it will be nice to watch the nitrates rise from zero on...

Let's get a few more members sharing results in this thread as well. I'm surprised to see the number of fishless cycling etc... questions and not more people reccomending a good product that's easy to use.

Four days for you eh? I will post day two results tomorrow when I add the second dose

In my opinion, it has a tint of green in it, ammonia at 0.25 or I am color blind. Just stating my opinion on what i see.

No flames please.

yup color blind...open and enlarge till it pixelated even...no green there...

Okay that is better since it is on the white background. I see it as yellow when enlarged and on the white background.

Damn. When I saw the title I was really hoping that this was a multi-tank experiment with half the tanks using stability and half not.

Still, 4 days is very impressive.
