Does anyone have an opinion on Seaclear aquariums? I bought one yesterday, in which I thought was a pretty nice deal. Delivered to my door a 40 gallon 36Lx18W for $190, not the deal of the century but I thought it was decent. I used to have a 55 of their's, and I loved their light/hood cover.

All of mine are All Glass Aquarium's and I would not say that is a good deal at all... At the LFS I work at we are selling 75's for $112 and the owner will deliver it for you for free!!!

I have a 100 gallon Seaclear that is now 16 years old and going strong. There is a slight bit of crazing on one side, about 4" in diameter, but its minor enough that it doesn't really effect the view into the aquarium. I would give them a thumbs up.

i belive they have lifetime warantee against any problems.. sounds good to me at long as you are within their rules. the only tank i don't like on them is the 72x24x24 inch (180 gal) they are using 3/8" acrylic sheet which would bow (not a lot) and since i read that it should be 1/2 inch sheet. i kinda get scary on that part only. the rest... kinda don't know. :)

seaclear and tenecor have to be the best companies in the US that produce acrylic tanks.

TRUVU is a good brand too, my 40 gal is one of these.

"delgado" is your 180 gal sea clear brand? coz i called them and they said they use 3/8" acrylic sheet on the 72x24x24 inch tank (180 gal). just wanna know how your tank is doing? sometimes the web is full of info and kinda confussing which to listen. :screwy:
