sealing plywood tank?

I was thinking of making a small plywood tank, just for fun. Is there any cheap way to seal the tank? I have black pool paint, would that work?

i dont know if black pool paint would work but there is this stuff called drylok thats cheap and works well.

www.aquaticeco.com has some epoxy paint that is proven to be safe.

I forgot to add you may be able to just use fiberglass resin from the local auto parts store.
I'm using it to seal a sump...we'll see how that works out.

Would that be drylock on plywood? Would it bond long term?

hey we just built a 1300g tank at work we stuck frp to plywood and used regular tank sealer in the seams. the front glass was put in from inside and has sealant beteew the frp and the glass
