sealing plywood tank?

To answer your question, maybe.. spred some silicone sealer on the same kind of wood you'll be using for the tank. Let it cure per directions (plus a day :D ) then paint it with your pool paint per its instructions. Let cure / dry. If it says to give it a second coat do so. Try to do just what you would for the tank. when it's all dry / cured check to see if it peels, bubbles up, or causes the silicone to degradate. If all is good Yeah ! :thumbsup: :woot: :woot: :clap :clap etc.

If not go with Sani-tred or Drylock or fiberglass & resin (or just resin) or gelcoat.

Do all this in a well ventilated area.
