Why can't they just have one definitive way to do it? :irked: It would be so much easier. I'm gonna be building my 150 soon so I need to find out what to use...

Who is "they" ? if there was only one way to do something, life would certainly be boring...

I retract my previous question for using the wrong word, I meant why can't their be just one way? I just want to know what's the best and/or cheapest way to seal a tank that will hold? :headbang2

The cheapest way depends on who you are and what you have access to... I got 3gal of epoxy free, so epoxy was the cheapest way for me. Polyester resin is probably the cheapest way next to a pond liner, and it will hold, but I would recommend letting it cure for several weeks before using it.

I don't have a link, but if you do some searching you might find a thread about a guy building a monster tank out of plywood and lining it with thin sheets of ABS. Same Idea.

Thanks for that it would be helpful if I could find it.
Do you know if the link is on this site as I ran a search using words: abs ply
and the words: abs wood
and found nothing except this thread.
Could it have been another website?

I like the truck liner idea i have thought about building a diy plywood tank and was dreading the fiberglass and sealent part i got a line-x place right across the street i think i will go over and ask for square foot price.
