Searching for Gymnotus

As the title states I'm looking for a Gymnotus. I'm mainly looking for a Carapo, Pedanopterus, Tigre, or any other knife in the genus with stripes. I've checked stores from Atlanta to Jacksonville with no luck, and also Wet Spot, who had a Carapo on their list, but they were out of stock. Any help finding one of these would be appreciated.
 
yeah with the exception of the carpo they are usually hard to find you might also look at an afer. I had a carpo who was 12" he did nothing but hide or go after everything in the tank. He also stayed very dark where you could barely see his stripes. I have an afer now and while he is dark he still has a neat pattern. He is also a hell of alot more personable coming to the glass when I enter the room. He still has the mollies in the tank a little spooked if he gets to close but they are in there to make food aka babies so it's not a problem

Blue grass cichlids has carapo in stock.

Can try snookn21 (John) @http://www.freshwatertropicalfishonline.com as he will get them in stock seasonally. Come and go quick though.

That's strange. Blue grass aquatics have it on sale on aquabid. Maybe out of stock already.
 
It's there now. I just checked to make sure still there. Wierd!
 
Take some time to update their stock and sales. Probably why it's still up.
