Note that what Bluegrass calls a "tiger knife" is not a Gymnotus at all, but rather a species of Brachyhypopomus. Quite a bit different in appearance and behavior.

I don't like the look of that. The main reason I want a gymnotus is for the vertical striping.

I've heard bad things about bluegrass also it drives me crazy when I search aquabid and because of random keywords unrelated to the auction like knife in a tetra auction that bluegrass adds to ALL of their auctions all of their auctions come up and it makes it a pain to find what you want so no matter how good a deal from them might be I won't buy from them
