I just bought a 7-8" beastly male GT at "Aquarist World" in Burien on Thursday and they had more larger GTs to choose from.

If you do not mind me asking. What were there pricing range? Down here we only see them in those sizes when it is a re-home "I'm Moving Out of State" kind of deals. Rarely at a LFS from my observation.

Wow, I've never heard of this place. I must go check it out.

What else did they have?

There's also "A place for pets" in Burien.

If you stop by King Discus could you take some pics of the Flowerhorn they have if you have a camera? Thanks.

For sure. Send me a PM of your name, detailed fish info, ideal size your looking for, and cell number. I will confirm back to you via text that I got your info. I'll take a pic and text it over to the couple of shops I go to along with the price. This way I know what to look out for and jot you down on my list.

They dont have much FH the last time i checked, QT have more. Theres also a guy in Burien that imports them himself and sells them out of his garage. strictly FH for a reasonable price. shoot me a pm if you need more information.

They were being priced from $29.99-$34.99 depending on the individual fish, mine was $34.99 cause he was the bigger of the males. There was another big male that was incredible except he had a weird little eye thing, not an illness of any sort but it looked as though it was injured when it was young but he had real long fins and a thick orange fringe!
I also went into "A Place for Pets" the same day and they had a decent selection of cichlids but no Green Terrors.
A few others at "Aquarist World" were some true Midas',black wolf fish, very nice and large Tetracanthus(Cubans),and quite a bit more but those held my interest for the most part.

Michael at aquarist World generally has 4 or more large Male GT's for sale at around 30 bucks like jmathewvan is talking about.
He also has a pretty cool back tank with koi on one side and arapaima, niger catfish, ~3ft pbass and sometimes a couple other things.
The cubans and wolf/lung fishes arent for sale although if you talk to him much he will put a price tag on just about anything.

Also for the more rare (umbee) or salt water fish A place for pets has great stock there.
They do get irritated if you start talking about hybrids (like FH) too much though

You headed up by yourself Sam or family trip? If it's just you I'll roll with you! I could pick up a few things myself.

if you want to find some exotic fish king discus is nice but more afordable and more exotic is litttle amazon fish store on 100th st and hiway 99. they have everything from full grown snakeheads, piranha and a good variety of smaller fish too. i did see a giant gorami full grown there once but not sure if its still there
