SEC Championship: Bama vs Florida

Alabama and texas are neither in the rose bowl. The Rose Bowl is reserved for the Big Ten and Pac-10 Championship winners (Oregon and Ohio State). The Citi National Championship game while in pasadena along with the Rose Bowl is not the Rose Bowl. Thought I'd let you know...

Bama played in the rose bowl in the past though.

I don't really know enough about the pac 10/ big 10 to call it either way.

Usually Only Pac-10 and Big Ten teams have ever played in the Rose Bowl. But Alabama has made the most trips to the Rose Bowl outside the Pac-10 and Big Ten conferences. The only time the Rose Bowl has participants outside the Big Ten and Pac-10 is when it is used as the National Championship game. Have you ever heard about the history of the Rose Bowl and the tournament of Roses? It goes a looong way back.

honestly I don't know that much about it. I know it's mentioned in the Bama fight song, and bama fans often joke that we're not allowed to play in the rose bowl anymore because we won it too many times. I mostly keep up with SEC ball. I'd like to know more about though.

who do you guys think will win the fiesta bowl? Looks like the second most interesting game to me this year.
