I dont really see the point in hunting.

I have no problems with hunting as long as it's done responsibly. As for reasons, there are a few. First of all, hunting can be a lot cheaper in the long run. Also, and I can personally attest to this, fresh killed meat tastes a lot better than the artificially messed with stuff at the supermarket.
And there's always the aspect of sport, which personally I don't see a problem with, but some people are for whatever reason offended by. As long as the hunters follow the regulations, there's really no reason to complain.

I totally agree and one deer can feed a whole family for awhile. My friends family hunts everything they eat and I love dinner at there house the meat is amazing. But they only go hunting once or twice a year :] They also go to Alaska once a year to fish for salmon. I think its a nice change when people actually understand what its like to kill something skin it and prepare it, I think people now a days are pampered. If you eat the meat you should at least know what it takes to make it to the table.
