second go at shoaling silver dollars

You think 2 minnows and 2 silver dollars is a strange combo. Before I moved him (let me tell you, his pals were devastated) my little LMB would school with my giant danios. And protected them too. They were in a tank with some pretty nasty fish (Salvinis, Convicts, GT, EB Johanni (easy, now. he was happy), Silver Aro) and he managed to keep their numbers up. (Bought 7, 6 left when I moved the LMB and now 3 left after I moved the LMB)
well before my last sd died (bad case of ich) he would school with my H. Scomb. they were the best of buds, and when the sd died, the scomb would eat for a week, finally got him eating, but still thinking about getting another school started, but i won't until i have the money to do so properly, they are like $11 a pop at my pet shop.
