So I bought a really small delhezi a couple months back and for some reason he just never took to eating and ended up passing away. So I came across some polys at a LFS marked as Palmas. But seeing as they lower jawed I posted a picture and everyone came to the conclusion that it was a Nigerian Lapradei. I couldn't stop thinking about them and today I ended up picking one of them up for a second try at polys.

IMG_0496.JPG I measured him about to be around 9-10 inches and he's pretty thick. He is drip acclimating right now and will put up some more pictures when he is in the tank. Hoping to have better luck this time around!

nice. All I can see is a dark bichir! Beeter pics in the tank?

Sure looks like one. Nice pattern on it too. Get it on a dark substrate.

I have my 155 out in the garage... still trying to figure out the filtration for it but I planned on doing black substrate for it! so once he goes in there hopefully he'll look good. for now the 55g is staying bare bottom :p

lol looks good for you right now lol a stressed lap on bare bottom lol and it still has awesome colors.............

thank you! could someone confirm that this is a nigerian lapradei?

this is definitely a lapradei. The head shape and patterns give it away :)
