Garlic guard is good for once in a while.. Ewurm swears by it.. But In my opinion it is a good/bad buy ;) I have purchased garlic guard fed fish.. They are not the healthiest .. Especially if the user of the garlic gaurd is dependant on it..

I won't buy any fish that's been fed garlic gaurd.. And I love sea chem products.

This is just my personal experience and opinion ;)
 
i have kent garlic.. it never worked on any of my pbass... i used to use it to treat iche in my sw reef tank since you can't dose with copper meds and the parasites dont like the garlic in the fishes blood. it is very healthy for them and a great way to get rid of parasites if you can get them to take it.

I like them also my like you stated this is my preference.
 
I might have to get some of this to try out. It might stimulate appetite in a few of my cichlids. What about just using plain garlic?
 
They are now taking the pellets at 2-3". I'm going to continue using it for about a week and see if they'll continue to take them without it.
 
IF they do that would be cool. If not I would just keep doin what your doin. This is going to help all those that cannot afford to Keep cichla:D
 
I add garlic to many of the foods. It has beneficial antioxidants and also is a taste enhancer for your picky fish.
