Is there a section on here for rainbow fish? I've been collecting as many different types as I can and would love to see other peoples rainbows!

This is MFK. As in; MONSTER Fish Keepers. This forum is about it for discussing rainbow fish. Don't get me wrong. I think they're great in aquaria, very active, and display a huge diversity of colors. However, if we were to try to incorporate every type of fish, this site would be impossible to navigate. Therefore, we look to keep things MONSTER around here.

Sorry I asked. I've seen post on everything from aros to bettas, I just thought that an interesting fish was appropriate to ask about. I wasn't dissing the site, I just wanted to know where people who had rainbows might discuss them...
Not that they are monsters, however someone could have a 'monster' tank of them. And some of the subforums(angels and discus) have fish that get the same size(6").

...I thought it was a reasonable question...

You know, I know I'm a newb. I have experience in other areas of animal husbandry, and I want to expand that knowledge in aquaria.

I got into this site because I'm interested in what experience fish keepers know. Some of my fish will be monsters, some not in size, however they will be monsterous in beauty.... Also I want to build some bomb aquariums myself(300g+). So please don't hate on me. I would really appriciate your wisdom and patience.

There is no hate. It comes down to simple site maintenance. MFK is part of a multi-site network where MFK deals mainly with Monster fish and Monster tanks. The site software would become too cumbersome if all species were handled with a forum per fish type. We're part of several sites that do deal with many aspects within our hobby. Check out Aquaria Central. While here, please feel free to post your rainbows in this forum, the photo lounge, filtration & setup, and anywhere else you feel they fit in. However, unless and until there is a large portion of the membership posting and discussing rainbows, the chance of a specialty forum for them is not likely to be created.
