not too sure but to me head shape and markings look mono but if origins are true there is a chance they are kelbs
 
pretty sure its not an orino.... and its almost impossible to tell mono and kelberi apart at that size although i would say kelb usually is a lil more yellow and less red

actually does it possible for the exporter ID the fry wrongly and getting a different kind of the sell name?

pupumole, you mean less red in the cadual fins? or the eyes?
 
Can someone tell me which one should I choose or what criteria is critical to have a higher chance to get a Kelb? I have heard from ppl always saying that get the biggest individual in the group...agree?
 
why biggest?
what does biggest have to do with what species it will be?
just get them all...
how much are they?
lfs CAN confuse them...but most of the time because the importers sell them the fish with wrong names.
it really depends...most of the time it happens with farmed cichla.
