Well Tundra's last pregnancy was 95 days 3 new babies 11-14-2010. And I belive Bruse has already done the job again we will just have to wait and see....but then Tundra is going on a break! How long is normally given for a break for ray's? She does need a break right?

I have let my motoro go 4 times in a row before. i have giving her a break for 6 months recently, but she is prego again. I have heard that they will not breed when they need a break.

hmmmm I would love to not have to seperate her, both her and the male go nuts. So does anybody else have any thoughts on her not getting pregnant on her own if she needs a break??

She had 2 on her last litter a male and a female, finally a boy. She has had 6 pups now and 3 litters total. She is currently pregnant again and I am thinking this will be here biggest litter yet! I can already see movement and she delivered last litter Feb 12th 2011 so it realloy wasn't all that long ago. I so far can see 3 distinct sets of movement in her, but she is already getting pretty big. Expected due date around May 12th 2011. She normally delivers right at 87-90 days. I am keeping 2 of the females from her litters. One of her females went to USMCTanker and he says she is doing awesome! Another female is tenatively sold to another member on here. So currently I have 1 male and 1 female left that will be for sale, they are still currently on black worms but weaning over to earth worms really quick. The male and female for sale are both from the Feb 12th litter and both are just around 3 inch disk size. I am right now only looking to sale locally. So anybody interested in CB retic's and you live in the Pacific Northwest let me know. Selling them for $80 a piece or $150 for the 2.

I have done nothing but be a responsible ray owner. Something so many people buying rays are not. Just makes me mad when I see all the rays especially retic's being mistreated and abused when they really are easy animals to care for. But thank you Tor for the compliment. People ask how did you get retics to breed.....I am trying to figure out how to get them to stop :)

Added a new ray to the mix yesterday.....Thank you USMCTanker (russell) the male hystrix is doing awesome. Was eating the very first night in the tank. He even looks huge next to Tundra (female retic) which I didn't think could be done since she is huge and big pregnant right now but he has her beat. Hoping for some retic/hystrix babies in my future. Will try and post some pictures when he quits burying himself in sand. Who would have thought that the 2 boys would stress him out but they seem to be a bit. So happy to finally see a hystrix in my tank! And to have a fully mature one is just beyond awesome! Super happy can ya tell? :)

what ever happened to USMCTanker? he just stop posting. odd. congrats on the pick up Grape. i havent seen you posting to often either....good to see ya again
