Seeking advice for 10 gallon community tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Check temperature range compatibility, white clouds are cooler water fish and the pygmy cories and kubos like a little warmer.

The minnows need below 72F and the others need above 72F and keeping them at their extreme ranges isnt the best either.

Right thanks for mentioning I actually saw that and thought it would be ok. So then no white cloud minnows. (Temp even without a heater is at 79)

edit: so with that said any new suggestions I really liked those long fin white cloud minnows.

I like that one! Does it do well with pygmy corydoras and kubotai rasbora? Like I can feed them all the same not worry about them fighting and stuff like that? So far I think those three are awesome if they are compatable

I would choose either the kubotais or the chilis, not both. Id pick one school for a small tank.

But theyd go well with pygmy cories (also look into the other small cory species-- corydoras hastatus and corydoras habrosus. Pick one species and get a group)

Alright thanks for that info, so the kubotai and the chilis are a schooling type but not the corys? And you suggest having one schooling type along with another nonschooling? Sorry if I misinterpreted what you said but just want to be sure. I appreciate the reply!

Ok now you got me switching the cory to the "salt and pepper catfish" and keeping the chili is this still an appropriate matchup? Thanks again to everyone chiming in and forgive me if I ask too many questions lol

The cories are schoolers too, but more lower and mid level. But the chilis and the kubos are both upper level so theres a space issue with having both together as theyre both upper level schoolers.

The chilis and the habrosus are both good together. They will appreciate some plants :)
