New addition to my family, you guys enjoy... She is 6" in diameter and has been eating since Sunday. I think she may have been slightly skinny when we got her Saturday, but she has put on tons of weight, and is doing very well. Thank you all for all you advice and help... Enjoy the pics...

She is acctually a Sabina... Not as atractive as the motoro's but in my opinion she is much more active... I got her from a local fish store, House of Tropics...

Very cool! I've never seen any of those in the LFS's in my area. What's she eating?

Right now she is eating bloodworms... I may try some ghost shrimp this weekend... Give her some excitment, and let her hunt a bit... Just a quick question, is it safe to feed her things like live goldfish or goupies?

I would not give her live feeders because there is a risk of introducing parasites and illnesses. Also, the goldfish would probably croak pretty quickly in marine water. What's your salinity at? I've read that these rays live everywhere from totally fresh to full marine water, marine being their ideal habitat though.

Clams might be a good addition to her diet.

The salinity level is currently at 1.006... Yeah I thought about parasites in feeder fish, I just thought it may be a cheaper alternative to her diet.... These type of stingrays are very versitial, they migrate all year round to seek warmer waters... I think thats one of the things that fasinate me the most is their ability to adapt quickly to their condition...

They're also the only "freshwater ray" in the USA. Nice pickup. For food, you could also try chopped market shrimp. If she starts eating those, you can get huge bag of frozen shrimp for cheap.

Yes, I'll upload them tonight!
