there was almost always a method to his madness, He often traveled to Zoos and Wildlife preserves to "wrestle" crocs for them to be treated or to remove them so that their living quarters to be improved. I rarely saw him do things simply for the sport of it. I've seen episodes where he let endagered species die simply because the law says that Man can't intefere with these animals in anyway.
