seine nets?

The ONLY thing that matters (aside from laws) is that you keep the bottom portion of the net dragging on the bottom.
I was a seining rookie, yet turned pro in the same week!

I've been using seines for 45 years but I've never seen one used like that. A seine that long should be used by two people but if you want to use it like that it wouldn't hurt to try but I'm guessing getting it to stick in the ground at one end will be problematic at best. And to be successful with a seine requires you use it in many places quickly, that doesn't look like a very efficient way to do this.
 
alright i think i got it now thanks for all the help and sorry im kinda a slow learner.
 
If you do it right, your first pull will make you very happy.
Caught over 20 baby black bullhead in one short swipe once.
Just be careful not to transfer any invertebrates to your tank.
Lots of parasitic and carnivorous nasties abound.
 
ok i dont see much stuff around here which sucks but i may be wrong when i get with seine so we'll see. and you do want to wade in the water right?
