IF your ammonia is high, the fish will start spazzing and swimming wierdly. It's gills are being damaged causeing it to basicly suffocate.

coulda been it then...i put some more prime in water change and added an airstone and my new dat is looking healthy so far...he ate ten guppies today so we'll see what happens
