I took way more photos than this, but there are some of my favorites. Keep in mind, none of these images have been altered in any way. I only used Photoshop to resize them.

Just beautiful pics... love the donkeys .. you can see every ruffled hair on them..clean crisp shots..that wooden boat reminds me of the boat I started to restore in my younger days... but never did finish it.. it was an old old finlander... so cute..

Thanks! The donkeys were funny. Coming back down the road 2 of them were standing in a line, blocking off the road. We had to sneak behind one hoping it wouldn't kick. You could hear them at random times in various parts of the town.
You mean the boat on the roof, right? The other one was pretty big, and I think from Louisiana. I have no clue how they got it to Greece.

I have more photos to come, including a wild Greek tortoise that my brother found at the Temple of Hephaestos.

The abandoned house is awesome

I know! My brother and I came around a corner, and there it was. It didn't look real, more like an alternate reality.

Oh, gotcha. At first I was thinking you had one of that size.... Yeah, they have a huge project ahead of them. Symi makes its living off of the sea, so they're very well practiced.

some of those are Nat Geo quality. Great shots man!

I'm very glad that we still have some tourism here!
I hope you had a great time in your holidays!!
(The valey of buterflies at Rhodes island, is unbelivable!!)

:)

I think Greece will always have tourism. As long as there are artists, art historians, and classics scholars, people will come.
It was one of the most amazing places I've ever seen! Both Rhodes and Athens were stunning, and I filled in more than half of my summer sketch book in the 10 day time span. Needless to say, I plan on coming back.

Petaloudes seemed like it was an entirely different country! I had to keep reminding myself where I was, since it looks a lot like some of the forests in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. We arrived just in time to see the moths start flocking in. 2 days before we were there there wasn't a single one to be seen.
