damn cool... my gran is from greece.. actually hes my moms step dad so i dont have any greece blood in me lol.. Granma always tells me gr8 stories abt Greece.. Dying to Go there..

The story behind most of the abandoned and decaying buildings is pretty interesting. When Germany and Italy invaded in WWII they used a lot of the islands' ports as U-Boat bases. Allied forces would do bombing runs to knock out the U-Boats, but often hit a bunch of other building in the process. Half of those houses now have trees growing out of them.
