if its a large ine then 26 degrees...if you have a small one but whant it to grow fast put it up to 28-30 that way it will eat more and grow faster...but after 30cm put the temp lower.

firstly,
can one keep more then one silver/jar in a tank, if the tank is big enough??
and can jars and silvers be kept together??? assuming silvers are bigger than jars..say about 8" silver(s) with 4"jar(s)
also i got to know from this thread that jars are not suited for comm tanks. but what if jars are the smallest in the tank n its tank mates are fish like big cats n SA/CA lke Red devil, Jags and oscars??
IMO no...when it gets to 24", it will be too narrow...I believe a 96x36x24 is fine for life, bigger is better...But there are many old Aros that have survived is less...
