Sell snake; get free aquarium.

I am trying to sell my brothers snake but I know nothing about them. What's in it for me is I get the 55g for free. What I need to know is what is a 4 1/2 to 5 ft ball python worth?

well its an adult, and if its just a regular python and not a morph would probably go for.... dunno. not sure how much they go for where you are. just look up on the internet the price you could get an adult ball python

Use for bait for some real monsterfish or maybe a gator...and you still get the tank. Win-Win.

Or

Get some GOODSTUFF foam insert tube in snakes mouth and spray, will make a good walking stick or net handle (can you tell I don't like snakes much (cats are second)). :j/k:

What kind is it, I can check around here but you'll probably sell it faster there.

If it is 4.5-5', you could sell it for a hundred bucks or more to a breeder. Most of then never get past 4'. So that is a monster(probably female). Breeders would like a snake like that to produce a few more eggs than usual.

That snake is being taken care of horribly wrong. That is one of the most dispicable set ups I have ever seen. You and your brother should be ashamed of yourselfs. That snake is very skinny and no way 4 feet long. You should GIVE it to someone that knows HOW to take care of that animal. I will. I practice proper husbantry on animals. Know one is strick on this forum. I hate it.

Note: Its very easy for many people to over estimate on the lenghts of animal and of anything in that matter.

"Know" one is "strick" because he is seeking correct information, not flames.

Take a step back and try to help out...

The animal is under weight and very poorly taken care of. IMHO you will be lucky to get $35 for it. JMO though.

And for what it is worth, animals have the RIGHT to:
1. be delicious.
2. fit well.
