Kudus Phil for bringing him over and checking where FaRT is going to live.

Happy that he will be in a good place. I know how attached to him you were.

I wanted to take pics of FaRT's new home but the new owner prefers to not disclose any aspects of his home for security reasons. The pond is roughly 1800gals with a heated beach area of sand and clay. It's pretty cool. The beach is heated by running the filtration drains through the bottom of the beach enclosure. The pond is in a climate controlled sun room that also houses a breeding pair of hyacinth macaws and a lone 50+y/o scarlet macaw. FaRT is definitely going to enjoy the extra swimming room over his old 6 x 3 tank I had him in. I wish I had half the money this guy seems to have to be able to set up such an awesome room on an already incredible house.

It's too bad the guy seems to be so paranoid as I would love to see photos of the pond and other enclosures he has.

I had to do the same thing to pay bills about 10 years ago. I got a hatchling from my old breeder buddy in San Diego. It grew to about 4 inches pretty fast. Lucky for me, I didn't have it for years. It was hard and I have wanted another one since then. Amazing what I paid then for a baby compared to the last price I saw for one. I don't even remember the last year that I saw a hatchling for sale. Sorry for your sacrifice.

How many people can say they both found their pet a much better home and got some cash on top of it? Not many. Youre one of the lucky ones. Hope things get better for you. Good luck to you.

FaRT gets to hang out on a beach all day with two girls. Just think of that...
