selling fish

i want to start breeding and selling fish localy i was just wondering how i would do this.

really would make more sense to know if you have buyers then breed.
what are you breeding?

i take it you buy your fish locally from LFS's in your area.
you could ask them if they take and sell on locally bred fish and if so what types they would be willing to sell.
if they say yes then go for it but you will find that you need lots of tanks for the various stages of development of each fish you breed.
most places or private customers tend not to take fish under certain sizes.
local ads or even joining local fish keeping clubs is a good way to get the local knowledge.
what were you looking to breed, have you bred fish before and if so what types.
try breeding some harder to get or even harder to breed fish if your up to it but you would still want to go with the favourites to keep you going and if you do buy your breeders for different sources to get good quality fry as inbreeding sucks
