So if it's ok that your lfs sells them,that's great. But if your are catching fish for them to sell and you are being compensated them you too would also need a license,right.
The Florida gars in the LFS probably didn't come from Florida; that species is farmed in Asia. The DNR doesn't look too hard at what the stores are buying from the big wholesalers; they usually only sit up and take notice when they catch people collecting game fish to sell or similar.
I strongly urge you to call the DNR and make sure that what you want to do is legal. If it isn't, you could get some hefty fines or worse.
