senegal bichir growth

i bought a 3 or 4 inch bichir 4 months ago . it hardly grew a inch. i had it ina 10 gallon tank, now in a 50 gallon one. i have fed it pellets since beginning . it's been in the new tankfor about a week. any advice i know everything about bichirs i am going to make a care video on them soon. just wanted to know growth rate

It’s slow so give it time. Will plateau around the 4-6inch mark.

so should i feed it chicken liver or shrimp both are too big for it's mouth even when very very very finely chopped. i tried giving it crushed dried worms but it refused

I’d try a pellet and cut up tilapia soaked in vitamins. Would avoid chicken and liver. Can have some dried krill or cut up shrimp occasionally as a snack.
