I'd be careful with breeding Convicts. They are quite aggressive and may even kill the Senegal. I know they're tough, but breeding Cichlids are pretty brutal.
 
very true..the other day when i was trying to get some powder baby food down to them since they started to become fre swimming the daddy shot up at my hand bit down and wouldnt let go lol
