i would consider delhezi's as anne said.all bichirs have their own personalities.is there a size of bichir you are considering,or,is it just the senegal/palmas????....

Yes, the size is the decisive thing, since I think most the bigger species are too big for my tank (and for some of the co-inhabitants).

Thanks for the opinions, I am now thinking about the delhezi, just have to see if they´re available on my local pet stores importers list. Last time I saw there were at least sens, palmas and endlicheris there...

Ok, it is done. Two 2" senegals moved in today. Must say they´re pretty cute
Would have gotten delhezi as well, but the only the senegals were available.
