Senegal + Ornate Bichir - Diet

Hey everybody,

What do you guys feed you Bichirs, mine eat prawn, mussel and meal worms at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything else ?

The senegal is about 10-11" and the ornate slightly smaller

thanks, i tried lance fish but they didnt seem to keen on it.

We have 17 polypterus and every one when large enough eats whitebait.

carnivore pellets should work. My bichirs eat spirulina pellets as well. They're not known to be very choosy in their food.

Silversides. My snegulas and albinos love them.

I feed my albino night crawlers, crickets, rosies, earth worms, cichlid pellets and snails. He has a little trouble with my oscar but all ways gets plenty.
