Senegal with Jack Dempsey?

2 would be fine females get about 4" males 6" the red ones look nice i like CA cichlids my self tho id go with Salvini they have very nice color once they are about 4" and honduran red points are very nice there meaner then convicts but i have some with a poly right now because they had fry and i dont want them eating any of there young so i put them in with him but they stay out of his way his about 10" and its in a 55
Yea right now I have a 4" Senegal Bichir in a 30 gallon growout and I have an empty 55 gallon waiting for him when he out grows the 30 gallon. Im just trying to see what options as far as tankmates for him that I would like best. Thanks for the replys.
I think if its just the JD & the Sen you'd be fine. I'm about to put 2 sen's & 2 pictus cats into a 55 where they'll probably stay for the next year+
