might get another bichir, Senegal, on a trade for a few Trimac growouts. 6" active eats pellets BUT has 1 eye. The eye looks like it's been gone a while. Worth it? I just started digging polys as of late an this can be my 5th one. 2 del, 1 endli, albino Senegal, and a very small ornate (so I was told)

I have a poly with one eye and as long as its in your heart to get it go for it.

Ty. Again I just started with polys and the trimacs are from my stock. I didn't know how the eye would affect the fish...especially in the long run. I think I'll get it. Of all of them the ornate is the most aggressive (greedy) when food hits the tank...almost funny that my festaes are flaring up towards the ornate

Yeah, they don't need their eyeballs compared to other fish. ;) I'd get it - an original character! Especially if it's active.

Just a caution that you may already be aware of - the endli will outgrow both of your senegals (or Dels) and they may become a snack. Just be thoughtful of that as he gets bigger than them.

One of my Endli's is blind in one eye and is much darker than my other. Happy I got him though his growing well so I say go for it. Also I am in the same boat regarding my Senegals and Endli's living together. So far its not an issue but I will also need to monitor as the Endli's pack on size rapidly.

The dels are 8" albino 7" endli 5" n the ornate is 3"

The sens and del are probably just about done growing. You might see another 2-4" out of the del over the next couple years and and inch or 2 from the sens but for the most part they are going to slow or stop now. Your endli and ornate are just starting and both will be 14+ this time next year. Both are known Sen snackers so be vigilant. And as everyone else has said the sen will be fine minus the eye they are tough little critters.
