So here it is as promised, I was doing a photoshoot of my fish so decided to net up my babies and get some good photos for you all :)

Sorry for the lowish quality. had to crop the photos to get them uploaded :(

First up my wild caught female Senegal bichir from Nigeria - roughly 6"

Decided to jump the tub as well

Then Nibblet my CB Senegal - 4.5"

In tank shots will come soon :)

It's quite the difference in head length and shape!

Nice pics.

Seems the wild caught sen displays the traits we like in our poly with the more elongated body and head. I would really be interested to see what the final adult size on the wc sen will turn out to be since so many cb seem to stay relatively modest sized.

I hope to keep them long enough to do so. the quoted size is 16" so let's see :)

Nice, WC look similar to any palmas complex Wc species, i mean the head shape the how the body looks longer.
Maybe it is similar, palmas were in the same shipment actually

I noticed a color difference also.
The difference was clear from day one. I'm hoping tan sand will help enhance the colour when I get it

A bit. Fins were tattered on arrival but not too much aggression seems to be around now, hopefully when i add sand the whole thing will calm down. They avoid each other for the most part
