What can i put with a sengalas in a 40+ gallon with out anything getting eaten?

Long as it does not nip it's fins, and not small enough to eat, should be OK, make sure it can be kept in a 40 gallon also.

great fishokay so my stock list so far includes:
3 bichirs
1 African Butterfly Fish
then i was thinking of some sort of alage eater/scavenger. i thought about a plec but someone told me that it may go after the slime coats.
i was also planning on going for a larger middle dweller...thought about kribs but another person said that they will become food for the bichirs...

i've got my bichirs with some cichlids, and catfish including plecos. Black Ghost Knife, siver aro. i haven't had any problems yet. Hope that helps.

look at my personal gallery. everything there is with my bichers except for the ferret. the hoplias malabaricus and silver aro are temporary tankmates. also not pictured. 1 BGK, 1 synodontis catfish. and plecostamus.bshockstubb said:
