Serioulsy thinking about keeping Discus

I ordered 8 4" wild greens from snookn21 at aquabid about 2 1/2 years ago. John is a great seller of wilds. I paid 450.00 plus shipping. look to pay a bit more for his 6" wilds. he acclimates and deworms all his fish before shipping.

That's good. I might go with John, should my lfs not get them in. Is 4'' good for starters?

I would strongly consider buying wild discus online from a reputable dealer - John being one of them. LFS + wild discus is an inevitable disaster.

YAY! I am getting my first discus this weekend.It's a jumbo wild 4-5'' + red spot green discus that will be coming in this Sunday! Pictures to come. And his buddy for now will be a tank raised blue turquoise discus, only tank rasied discus I like.
