This should have been posted in "lessons learned" section. The lesson being always always always factor in for wood shrinkage when you build your stand! Schoolboy error dennis. On a positive note at least if it rains in his house dennis and his wife have somewhere to shelter!

Really i'm even freaked out just seeing tanks with just corners/ends supported.
Now, this is become a different story if tank only supported around corners and let the center open, or without support. Also, depend how long of the tank, and depend on how far the support from the corner to the center of the tank, this setup most likely will fail soon if not instant when certain amount of water filled in the tank.

I'm new to experiment with fish tank build I rather just buy built ones lol.

I have custom built my own tanks for a long time, I started off like most by just cutting glass and taping it together. Once set bingo!! new tank, except it dosnt work like that!! many of the early ones failed quickly.

These days i use a custom made jig, the glass is washed with deionized water for 45 mins in a device designed for it, i got mine from a window place that was closing, they are large and alot of money!! I got mine pretty cheap.

Once washed and degreased the glass is put in a polythene type tent to keep dust out and used straight away. The jig clamp it all together tight but slowly releases tension over 12 hours.

there is alot more to making a large aquarium than you think. The amount of water and solvents used in just cleaning the glass is mad! On aquariums over 6' the surfaces are chemically etch for better hold, sometimes if you look really carefully you can just about see the etching on the seems. Mostly it is hidden by the silicon.

So is it cheaper to buy or make a tank? Actually its probably cheaper to buy one, i make them because i dont pay for glass and i like odd sizes.

Well, he can list at whatever price he wanted but sell or not is different story, but 1 thing i'm pretty sure that he making us laughed and that's pricesless :p
Edit:
Showed my 1st grade nephew the picture and guess what? First thing came out of his mouth "Do you think it's safe, Uncle? LOL
