Do you suppose he'll still get reptiles even if he never comes here again? Because he won't have us to impress with his mad herp skills or something? Or do you think he'll just get them anyway and they'll endure the same fate as they would whether he'd asked our advice or not? Because I've never seen him take anyone's advice unfortunately.

The latter is significantly easier to cure. Being ignorant is simply not knowing something. Once you learn about it, your ignorance is cured.

Being stupid is an inability to retain and apply useful knowledge (the same knowledge that cures said ignorance). When one asks for good advice and receives it, but chooses not to apply it, that is being stupid.

It's like, if someone tells you to look both ways before crossing a street, and you choose not to, you have no one to blame but yourself if you get creamed by a truck.

Large_cichlids, if you're reading this, you know what which of these terms best applies to you. The really sad part is, you have effectively demonstrated that you're capable of changing, but since you choose not to, this decision even further amplifies your condition. But the choice is still yours.

in his defense i believe i have seen a flick of his leo geckos on paper towels...or newspaper...i cant remember but nothing comes out of bad mouthing eachother i almost dont even want to come on this thread anymore...some people need to be reminded that this site is for seeking and giving information on successfully keeping the animals we enjoy...all this name calling and immaturity is useless... i think we all need to check ourselves
