For extra reference, you could look at my post of building a 110 gallon stand. Just search the DIY section.

I did look at the reference you posted, but didnt see it until after I was finished yesterday.

Actually, mine is prettyclose, has an upper and lower box, the 2x6s were cut 45 degrees and joined. I did use 4 x 4's but they were notched upper and lower and fit into the upper and lower box. (3/8's carriage bolts were run through the 2x6s into the 4x4's. Also screws were used in spots for additional reinforcement as well.

I also used 2x4s to reinforce the upper and lower boxes at 3 points on each side and one point across the front (my door hinges will attach there. I did not "gusset from front to rear in the center, but I think thats a good idea and I will cut one 2x4 down today and do that.

will be a small assortment to start. I have 3 tanks currently and am going to put a small partition in this tank (the wife been bugging me to get rid of all the tanks and just get one)

in the partition will be a pair of Buffalo Heads.

The rest of the tank will have a a couple parrots and two goldfish and a Buffalo Head that the pair rejected as a mate (missing eye). The pair of Buffalo Heads are actively mating and they are reproducing about every 2 to 3 months. (about 30 at a time) If anyone wants some buffalohead fry I will give them out as asked, just figure out how to get them delivered.

I know before you say it, yea yea yea parrots are the bane of the fish world, was the first fish I got years ago. Ultimately I will end up with some discus' but will move the the fish I currently have into this tank. I want to try to keep one of the other tanks I have setup but don't think I will win that argument.
