Setting up a 210g with an 80g sump, set up questions??

???? So what size are the drain holes in your tank? How many of them are there? How much water can your overflows move? And what size are the holes for the return lines from the pump?

3/4" returns x2, and the drains are 1.1/4" x2 from what I have learned, those are pretty standard sizes for a pre drilled tank from the manufacture. I have a buddy on line that runs a 400g system on the same size overflows.
So according to the chart posted earlier, I'll be moving 1,160gph
Also I re measured the main tank and according to the calculator it's only 180g? But I bought it labeled as a 210g

Based on this, you'll probably be alright with a pair of 1.25" drains. Now, how much can your overflows drain? Probably plenty, but you need to check.

And I'm wondering. You have the black overflow boxes in the corners. They should be glued into the tank (and not leak water from the tank into the overflow box when water's in the tank). What's in the white boxes? What's in an overflow accessory kit? Only thing I have inside the black overflow boxes on my tank is PVC standpipes I made myself. Not even glued, they press fit into the bulkheads on the bottom of the tank.

the kit makes durso stand pipes, there is an old one in the second picture and the boxes are glued in uploadfromtaptalk1424497603170.jpguploadfromtaptalk1424497614565.jpg
The kit comes with everything you need for a standard drain and return and it's all adjustable

How much was it? Cause I just made my own and the black PVC and loc-line and fittings were kinda pricey when it was done.

$47.99 each, so $95.98 for the set. Comes with bulkheads and "y ball and socket" return lines

according to this, I could see around 3,000 gph until restricted by my ball valves, so that's crazy turn over for this set up. As long as I match the drains to my pump, I should see 8x turn over an hour at 2,400gph. That's all my pump can put out.

I have 2 - 1,5 inch bulk heads for my drain in my 210, use a jebao 12000 about 3100 gph at zero head, works great for me, Good luck with your setup, I drilled mine then ran the return up the back and over to a T then loc line, those stand pipes will be nice, you can make your own or use pre made ones like that,.

So I guess the only other concern I have is figuring out how to match the flow rates between the drain in the return I have ball valves but I don't have any experience with matching flow rates in a sump
