Setting up a used 450 gallon tank

Yeah, he never goes hungry or I might start loosing fish. You can tell he's well fed LOL

Originally I set the tank up thinking I wanted an easy way to drain it for water changes and recycle the water so I put in a 1.5" line out to the yard. The trees love the fishy water. The whole tank drains in 5 min lol I didn't realize how much water a 1.5 inch line could move! Then I figured I would just run a water line to the top of the tank for easy refilling. Basically the trickle system was set up and I didn't know it lol. After overfilling the tank a couple time because I have zero attention span and forgot that I was refilling I worked out the trickle and never looked back! The fish have grown huge! So I have slightly increased the flow over the years. I started at about 1 gallon an hour and now I'm up to about two gallons an hour.

LMFAO! People really have no idea how shocking it is to see this guy waiting at the front of the tank when you flip the light on in a dark room...kinda scary!
 
The Niger is a gentle giant. My tank top to bottom is 30" and front to back is 36". I think this cat is 28 to 30 inches now. I just took these pics today.

Woooooozaaaa!!!!!!!! That cat is huge :nilly:, Nice set up egon love the tank and fish.
