your right they don't

once they get big they become very aggressive. that is when the problems occur. which is why you rarely see large artc in aquaria. here is a good thread on artc aggression

I agree they become aggressive as adults for sure. However I will say it can be done. IMO at least

Ok thanks, I think I am likely to got for the sa RTC or the hybrid because the wykii and asian seem boring unless their on a killing spree lol pretty cool but not my thing, I prefer hand feeding active and interactive fish rather than dumping defenceless ones in there to die for my amusement.
Now just gotta start building the tank and choose between them :/ that's gonna be the hard part lol

Are you sure you are set on one of those three? What abotu a wallago? they get in the 5-6 range to and are very fierce/fun
Wallago are awesome! but in this case IMO he'll enjoy an RTC more. plus wallago are rare and with a rarerity comes a high price tag lol

I have a RTCX and a TSN... and plan on adding a RTC, and maybe a planiceps down the line.. maybe a jurenese..... Not sure yet... but there are waaay more cats out there. THose re just the ones I know are fairly easy to get my hands on and run 100$ or less.
