Setting up new tank!

My ammonia has gone to 0ppm, nitrites are at 2.0ppm and nitrates are 40ppm. there is still only one small fish in the tank, and I am getting brown/red algae. Do I add fish to produce more ammonia the feed BB, Water change to reduce nitrites and add Aquasafe with bio-extract, or be patient and do nothing? Patients is not one of my strengths!TIA

My tank has cycled, and I have moved over my fish to there new home. I also vacuumed the sand for the first time. Piece of cake. Now after moving the fish in it got cloudy. The sand was thoroughly washed prior and the fish are not really stirring it up so it is not the sand. Why is it cloudy and is this part of the cycling process? here are some pics.
