Setting up the 1000 gallon Bowfront.

Added nine 5-6 inch clown loaches and 30 more birchardis...tried feeding a BIG moon crab to the Mbu but the #$#@% crab got away and is taking refuge in the driftwood where all the catfish are...#%#$@ crab is going to eat a bunch of my multipunctacus cats! Hope the Mbu gets him before he kills too many of my fish
 
Swimming with a mbu puffer a braver man then I; I know Mbus are supposed to be the nicer of the large puffers but mine tends to look at my arm to much when I do maintenance :0; and I know darn well he can bite through bone :0

That's not me in the tank...I am not that brave:ROFL:.That person in the tank is a buddy of the guys who were doing the upgrades to the filter. Chris (the person inside the tank) was helping with the arrangement of the plants... Thank you little Chris for your help... The Mbu is a sweetheart, he enjoys getting gentle pats to his head.

I think I'm almost done with the stock in this tank... Got one 24 inch Mbu, one frt, three 6 inch red hooks, five 5 inch thin bars, three 5 inch blue hooks, two 7 inch wide bars, twelve 3 inch tiger SD's, 70 birchardis, 26 synodontis multipunctacus cats, 20 purple flashers and 9 clown loaches. Plus one @#$@ moon crab.

Various LFS ... I will travel great distances to buy fish!! haha... some private breeders and MFK members. Getting this tank setup and stocking it in under 1 month is no joke... I need a vacation!


Update.... the only thing that is left of the crab is the body...all the legs/claws have been eaten. Guess the body was too large for the puffer! At least I didnt lost any fish to that crab
