fish i was thinking about is one red devil,one buttikoferi,one barred midas and one jaguar.

If you don't wan't one big monster in there like a Dovvi or Umbee...........I'd go with a more relaxed tank like maybe P-bass and oscars...there's all kinds of options you could do with that size of tank but with the stocklist you are presenting is more then likely a timebomb. All it will take is for one of those monsters to go psycho and the whole tank will go down with it. The fish you listed are all super aggressive fish and rarely tolerate tankmates and IMO belong as solo specimens. GoodLuck

If you start with juvies you may work it out. the labiatum (red devil),& cintrinellum(midas) need to be the same sex or they'll hybridze.

well if i got it i would get three emp 400's and a canister filter of some type with some power heads

umm I dont like pikes and i think pbass get like three feet or so so i geuss thats out of the question.
and for the vieja look pretty good ill look into those
