Very nice combo man discus and pikes look awesome! Love your female tapajos. My tapajos female the largest one is a solid 9-10 inches.... 'Twas a shame out of the 3 I ordered I got all females.
I can def tell the female is dominant. In fact it's common for female tapajos to be dominant or more aggressive from what I've read. You can also tell you can see the white slime film on the males forehead. Nothing to be alarmed about he's just a bit stressed lol it's normal for tapajos I or II to do that when stressed or not feeling themselves or get injured haha looks great give it some time. If they don't pair, well my female is pretty lonely
Nice discus. I'd be a bit wary of mixing sources. At the store I worked at this guy bought one of our discus and it had something that wiped out all 11 of his discus in his tank. They look good though so I wouldn't be worried good luck

Thanks Jacob. Fish are doing well so far. They ate yesterday. I'm gonna do a WC tonight and continue keeping an eye on them. Really want them to thrive.

Thank you. The hobby is really taken over. I really hope the discus work out with the tapajos. I'm hoping even more that the male and female begin to bond. Right now, the female beats the male.
