What do you guys have in your aro tanks? My currently only has black moonsand in the bottom, no decor or anything.

Jesus those are amazeing tanks, i think i have a lot of work ahead of me to make a tank look that great.
For some reason i was Entertaining the idea of haveing a 300g with some stuff at the bottom for 3-4 red bellys to be hidden by/under and a 2ft silver above swimming.
Guess the logic was there all from the amazon. I dont think i would risk it tho. Poor silver would be always scared and the reds would always be scared

The tank should be set up with the arowana in mind. Silvers and black aros should have the upper 18" of the tank free of any decor to maximize swimming space. As it is most people keep their silvers in tanks that at too small and those tanks would best be kept bare. The decor only limits the space in the tank and can injure the aro if and when it freaks out.

your tank is amazing. Is your substrate sand? no problems with the bubble wall kicking it up and causing problems?
